Victoria attended Wheeling Jesuit University where she received her bachelors in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Victoria joined the Sun Lab in 2011 as a laboratory technician where she performed various cell culture assays for the stroke and a previous glioblastoma project. Currently, she is the laboratory manager where she oversees the operation of the lab, conducts training sessions, writes protocols, and maintains several transgenic mouse colonies for various research projects among many other tasks.

Outside of research, Victoria has a strong interest in sustainability. She has introduced a variety of sustainable measures inside the lab space including purchasing bio-based plastics and the recycling of various materials such as gloves, pipette boxes, hard lab plastics, and office and packaging waste.
