Mary was an undergrad student here at the University of Pittsburgh. She joined the Sun lab as a freshman back in 2020 and stayed with us until the end of her senior year. Mary’s work in the lab was mostly centered around the Alzheimer's Disease project where she was involved in tissue collection, sectioning, staining, data analysis, and manuscript writing. Mary’s next steps involve attending medical school to fulfill her dreams of becoming a surgeon. Fun fact about Mary is that she has been working with dogs for six years!!
