With a Medical Degree from Harbin Medical University and a PhD in Physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Sun was on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997-2011. Dr. Sun joined the University of Pittsburgh in 2011 and holds a full professor position and UPMC endowed Brain Disorders Research Chair Professorship, and is a PI in the PIND.
